It still blows my mind to watch the continual flow of new kills coming from this guild. Tonight they add the big bad robot, Void Reaver, to their list of kills.

Last year we found ourselves struggling with Morogrim Tidewalker in SSC. Team Schizo took him down in one shot. That's the good stuff. Keep it up guys.

As For Horde came back from our Holiday Vacation, the raiders decided it was time to take things up a notch. For well over a year, we've been a very "Casual" raiding guild. While that casual attitude worked fine for us last year, '08 was going to be different. Team Schizo was formed.

Their first task, going backwards. :)

We originally skipped Magtheridon because he's just too hard for such a casual group. We'd have different people every week, so we figured it wasn't worth trying to teach people who wouldn't be back for weeks. But Schizo is Serious Business... so they formed a Serious team, and accomplished their first Serious Task.

Blue Team For Horde! Once again, a Blue Team guild first! They continue to root out the corrupted Zul'Aman. This week they successfully put Halazzi, the Amani lord of lynxes.

Blue Team once again was escorted by the unstoppable Ryzorian, deep into Zul'Aman. Dispite Blue Team's repeated attempts to bring down a boss by "akward submission", Ryzorian rolled his eyes and solo'd the previously unbeatable Jan'alai. Grats Blue Team, you found someone to kill bosses for you. /wink

It's true... and he was delicious. The Lurker Below was served up raw for the brave soldiers of Thrall who dared to venture into Serpentshrine Cavern. We're on our way gang! FOR HORDE!

Gruul's Lair is Cleared

It took us longer than normal, but tonight we finally got Gruul The Dragon Killer to his knees. Grats all.

This is our first major step into 25 man content gang. Let's keep it moving! FOR HORDE!

Nightbane was summond to Kara, only to be beat down by a bunch of no-name misfits... wtf?? :)

Netherspite is a softy. All you need to beat him is a dead hunter and a snowman. Proof is in the pics.

Erkan, our quiet, polite, bringer of nightmares, found a beautiful axe called Gorehowl on the Prince. The was apparently just the amount of power it takes to corrupt Erkan to the bone, who suddenly turned on us as we headed down through the library.

But Red Team is known for it's quick thinking, (at least some of Red Team is...) so we pulled together and took Erkan down. An ARGENT DAWN FIRST!

But that's not the strangest thing to happen that night. Ryzorian, our confident (if not dangerously conceded) holy priest, started using the books we found in the library to summon hot chicks to help him heal. That's not so strange in itself. The strange thing was, none of these ladies of hotness seemed to mind his smell or ego!

In all, we had an EXCELLENT night in Kara. Great job Red Team.

But the Shade of Aran is dead now!

And yet before we could punch Aran squarely in his pie-hole, we peeked inside the offices of Terestian Illhoof, and finally put that jerk out of his misery as well.

(For Horde Tip #23: When fighting TI, ignore his pet imp completely, UNLESS he's at about 10% health from AoE, right after finishing a Demon Chains, then quickly kill him and get back to the boss. This made a 4min difference for us, and turned a headache into a breeze.)

Tonight we finally got the Wizard of Oz event in the Opera House. This marked the last and final Opera event for us. It's official... the Opera House is a Purplez Machine. :)

While in Kara tonight, we innocently wandered into Grandma's house looking for some "grandkid handouts". But what we found was a Big Bad Wolf who was suffering from a terrible case of "Leetspeakitus".

We cured him.

I promise you, we were all very well behaved, and only entered the gallery to check out the leet collection of paintings. When all of a sudden, the freaking Curator comes running out yelling "Hey little dudes, like, don't touch the phat epix!". Then he proceeded to start pounding on us.

We felt we had every right to pound him back. Poor guy...

As we ventured in to have our eyes peeled back by The Curator for fun, we ran across this rather large statue. While others were on an AFK, Ulysses starts to climb it. Several other folks join in, but can't seem to get higher than the thing's toes. But not Ulysses. He kept finding a way to get higher.

As he reached the cuff of the giant's glove, I idiotically proclaimed:

"Hey Uly! If you can get to the top of that monster, I'll make you guild leader"

A few seconds later, we all gasped as the little guy found a way up. Being a cow of my word... I made him Guild Leader of For Horde. His first act as our new leader?

I love you all, and have enjoyed serving as your GL. I wish the almightly Ulysses the best of luck, as he tries to endure the whispers, the issues, the complaints, the boohooing, the fights, the rules, the recruiting, the web developing, the vent fees, the hosting fees, the..... wait a tick.... LATER SUCKERS!

NOTE: This was just us having fun folks. Boom is still guild leader of fH. It's been months since I posted this, and there are STILL rumors flying on AD that Boom is leaving WoW. No such luck. Boom will be here a long long time. :)

Another excellent run in Karazhan tonight. It all began with a perfectly excecuted attack on The Maiden of Virtue!

This lead us into our first ever Opera Event! As luck would have it, of the three random events, we were blessed with Romulo and Julianne. While we can't speak from experience, we were told this was one of, if not the hardest of the 3. After a quick wipe while learning the fight, we came back up and cleaned house.

Excellent job guys. We're finally starting to catch our grove.. up next... THE CURATOR!

Tonight we finally killed Moroes and his buddies... at least we all remember it that way. But when I went to my SS folder, I had shots of the fight, but not the "pose" shot at the end. So I asked the rest of the guild if they had shots, and no one fessed up. So until we find one, you'll just have to trust us when we say:

We got Moroes! WOOT!

Friday, For Horde sent it's first band of soldiers deep into Karazhan, to have our over zelous butts handed to us by Moroes. It was great fun. :) But before Morose and his buddies had their way with us, we first headed into the stables, where we found a beautiful horse named Midnight... which we promptly beat into glue, along with is seriously self centered rider, Attumen the Huntsman.

Only 8 days after launch, Erkan became the first FH member to ding 70! While we can't prove it, we're all convinced Erkan had several kids running grind shifts, while he ate bonbons on the couch and watched reruns of the Snorks with the sound turned off. (We don't claim to understand Erkan) :)
