For Horde is no normal guild. We're organized very differently, and divide the responsibilities among our members. I'm looking for specialist, with a real interest in a very specific area. Our guild has no Officers, just our staff. Staff members are no more important than any other member. As a matter of fact, they're servants of the guild. Just like Boom.
Below is the list of job positions in For Horde. To apply, please sign up for our forums, and send a PM to Boom. Include your history in WoW, any other MMOs, and explain why you'd be best for this job. Include references from other current WoW players.
If you have suggestions or idea for other jobs, feel free to post your ideas on our forums.

Description |
Raid Staff General |
Zul'Gurub, Molten Core, AQ, Naxx, we plan to see it all. We're looking for a Raid Organizer who has a lot of raiding experience, who can organize or Raids, help create DKP policy, raiding rules and more. They will be master of our Raid calendar, and responsible for scheduling raids on nights that most our members can attend.
As we go, decisions will have to be made about who does, and does not get to attend our raids. (as soon as our sign ups exceed the raid limits) The RAM will be responsible for creating and maintaining the policy that will determine that. They will be responsible for any issues that arise between our members about attendance, and "right to go". etc.
This player should have extensive raid management experience, and work well with peers. (both the nice ones, and the annoying ones) This player should play WoW 7 days a week on average, and be available for raid questions from our guild members.

Capital Warden |
Every raid consumes items. Pots, bandages, and even the occasional repair bot. >.< These things don't fall off trees. They take many different skills, organization and time. Our guild Raid Resource Manager will be in charge of ensuring every raid we attend is fully stocked with the items that instance requires. We don't expect this person to do all the work but to be responsible for delegating the work needed to other members, and seeing to it each raid starts with the correct items it needs.
The person we're looking for should be very aware of the consumables required for each end game run. They need complete knowledge of the required professions needed, and be willing to take responsibility for the needs of our raiders. This person must work well with other members of our guild.
This position requires an established history with For Horde, due to the responsibility of maintaining large amounts of guild resources.

Warchief |
Our Warchief will be responsible for nightly BG runs. While they don't need to attend it every night, they will help develop and enforce policy for determining who will be invited into the current pvp group, and how to handle pugs.
Our guild is For Horde. This means we are truly interested in the goals of the Horde, and plan to be involved. World PvP is not only fun for us, but tends to create excellent content for the other players, even the evil Alliance.
Our Warchief will be responsible for setting up world pvp, setting the rules, and documenting what goes one. That information will be sent to our Guild Lore Master to be turned into a story for publication on our site, and the AD forums.

Guild Bard |
Do you like being in the lime light? :) Does responsibility just make you smile from ear to ear? This this job is for you. Our Guild Bard will be the bottleneck between the mass of information that comes from our guild, and the outside world. You'll be responsible for reviewing every story, announcement or response that is made on behalf of our guild.
The person for this job must have EXCELLENT communications skill, and plenty of previous experience. Your writing skills must be perfect, as you'll represent the rest of us who can barely put two words together. :)

Keeper of Legends |
The history of For Horde is very deep, interesting and fairly epic. We'd all like to know what it is... so I need someone to write it. I love RP, and our guild will be involved with the RP on this RP server. This position will be responsible for creating our history, and maintaining the guild lore and it's consistency.
This person will also be responsible for approving stories written by our members, and editing them when needed for grammar, spelling, etc.
This person needs to have a love for RP, and WoW history. Someone who wants to do a lot of writing, and knows how. Someone with an English degree would be preferable.
|
Guardian of Dreams |
WoW Videos are awesome. I love them. Well... some of them. Many of our guild members want to make videos, or be in them, but don't know how. We'd like someone who loves to make WoW videos to make them for our guild. Music videos, PvP videos, or even stories or coverage of our RP events. We'd love for someone to be in charge of documenting the fun we have.
This person must have extensive experience with making in game videos. When you apply, please provide links to the videos you've made. You must also be available to our other members to teach video shooting and editing to those interested.

Gnome Master |
FRIDAY NIGHT GNOME FIGHTS! That's just about enough said. But for those who don't know...
We're looking for someone to manage and take charge of our weekly, Gnome Fight RP event. Every Friday night, gnomes sponsored by the major Horde guilds will come together outside Orgrimmar and fight it out in the pig pit.
This person must have excellent organizational skills, and be online very often to build and maintain our relationship with other guilds. They will have to track the results of each match every week, (or assign that job to someone else) and update the website with the results.
This person will also be responsible for updating the fight rules and regulations as needed.
|
Keeper of Science |
Mods are a very important part of WoW gameplay. Many are fun, some are necessary, while others are just a pain in the neck! Our guild Mod specialist will be responsible for knowing all there is to know about WoW mods. How they work, what they do, what we need to have and what we should avoid.
You'll be responsible for determining which mods are required for all guild members, maintain a list of "suggested" and "tested" mods, and keeping pages with mod suggestions on our side for every class. (except pallys... they're dumb)
The right person for this job will already be obsessed with the mods they use, and someone who frequents the Blizzard Mod forums.

Guild Staff General |
Our guild is growing. Our standards are raising. And we have a lot of folks working hard to improve the playing experience for our members. I don't plan to waste that work on players that don't want to give back. Our Lead Recruiter will be responsible for interviewing applicants and determining if they are truly For Horde.
Previous experience in a guild position that included recruitment is suggested. This is not a fun job, but one full of responsibility. You'll have to deal with the best of the best, and the worst of the worst. I need a lot of maturity in this position. |
